Every
Saint Has a Past- Every Sinner Has a Future - God's People Called
To Ministry
Chaplains
Are Not Just Helping To Win Souls - They Are Saving Lives
John
15:16
"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained
you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit
should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my
name, he may give it you."

Jesus
has chosen and ordained each of His followers to serve Him with
love for a specific purpose. They are to continuously be bringing
forth fruit... new people for the kingdom of God. The kind of fruit
that they bring should be an everlasting one. Jesus said the fruit
should remain or "keep on abiding." By our love and sacrifices,
we can give eternal life to others.
Chaplain
Fellowship Ministries of Oklahoma is recognized as a faith based
non-denominational ministry of presence. We provide our members
with the opportunity to serve in the position of an ordained Chaplain
and Minister through specific ministry programs. Members of Chaplain
Fellowship Ministries receive their ordination, license, training
and certifications as a benefit of membership in accordance with
their qualifications, skills and experience.
Members
are ordained and licensed as non-denominational Chaplains and Ministers
allowing them to fulfill their destiny and purpose in the Ministry.
Member's ordinations are valid as long as their membership is in
good standing and must be renewed each year.
Chaplains
are ministers called to serve God's people as commissioned by the
sacred Word of God. In Christian grace and duty Chaplains respond
with love and compassion to people's needs in their whole existence.
Chaplains embrace the understanding that human beings are created
in the image of God with uniqueness and freedom to think, act and
feel. When we do our best, God will do the rest. Jesus made it clear
if we give a man a fish, we feed him for one day, but if we teach
him to fish, we feed him for a lifetime. God carries out His plan
through those obedient to Him in spite of their human frailties.
Romans
12:1-4-8 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and
these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we
who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's
gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.
If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach;
if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to
the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership,
let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it
cheerfully. Mission
Statement: Our mission is to recruit and train chaplains and ministers
to have the capacity to prepare for and respond to disasters worldwide
and across all levels - community, national, regional and international.
Our
goal and vision is to recruit and train chaplains and ministers
to serve in our communities and State and to assist Chaplain Fellowship
Ministries International in recruiting chaplains and ministers nationwide.
To
have the ability to minister outside of the conventional setting,
the chance to interact with members of diverse faith groups and
the opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of individuals
on a regular basis. Jesus
taught by word and by demonstrations. In order to trained and motivated
ministry leaders, we believe all Christians have been given spiritual
gifts to fulfill their callings. Ministry ordination is a spiritual
gift and calling directly from God, and is not to be taken lightly.
God chooses to call who he will, or to use any instrument, to accomplish
his will. We know by building and strengthening our communities
and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus to the world at large we are
doing what He has called us to do.
We
don't recognize our calling overnight; rather, God reveals it to
us gradually over the years. As we use our talents and gifts to
serve others, we discover certain types of works that feel right.
They bring us a deep sense of fulfillment and happiness. They feel
so natural and good that we know this is what we were meant to do.
Sometimes
we can put God's calling into words, or it may be as simple as saying,
"I feel led to help people." Jesus said, "For even
the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve
"
(Mark 10:45, NIV). If you take that attitude, you'll not only discover
your calling, but you'll do it passionately for the rest of your
life. Making
a Difference for Our Community: Serving the State and communities
of Oklahoma, CFMO is attempting to take the gospel of Jesus Christ
to people in specialized settings by reaching through the cracks
of our society and touching the lives of people who are hidden or
out of reach of most local churches.
We
don't just want to make a difference, but we want to be the differences
in the lives of others. We believe Jesus teaches us that a ministry
that is inactive and uninvolved in helping others is empty and selfish.
When people become part of the chaplaincy they are taught their
highest calling is not in "being served," but in serving
others. We believe a servant's life is the most meaningful life
to live. There are a number of ways we are endeavoring to make a
difference by serving our surrounding community. Chaplaincy
is the most effective means of reaching secular society because
there are times chaplains can go where the church cannot go.
Prayer
Partners: Prayer is the most powerful force in the world. We
cannot continue to exist without faithful prayer partners. We desire
greatly your prayers for this ministry.
Financial
Partners: Just as prayer is essential for us to continue in
this work, so also we must have financial support to serve independent
ministers and chaplains. Please consider joining our ministry team
as a financial partner. Every gift counts. No gift is too small
or too large, and we will be happy to share with you special needs
if you prefer to give to a specific project.
Heavenly
Father, I pray that each one who enters these pages be blessed.
Those that are seeking ordination, certification and endorsement,
work in their hearts and minds that they may know exactly Your will
for their lives. Above all Father, work in each life that they may
have a real relationship with you trusting you in every thing and
may facilitate the same in others. In the Name above All Names we
Pray, Amen.
